The following 11 committees in support of Prop.8 and 16 committees opposing Prop.8 were formed and registered with the Secretary of State (SoS) of California.  The number in front of the committee name is the number used below in this discussion.  The number after the name is the ID number assigned by the SoS.

Contributions to each of these 27 committees (11 “Yes on Prop.8” and 16 “No on Prop.8”) were of three kinds:

1)    Contributions by organizations (typically with an “ID number”).  It should be noted that many out-of-state organizations did not provide an ID number.

2)    Private contributions were each donor had to state name, city, employer and occupation.

3)   Contributions from other committees registered with the Secretary of State.  It was a common practice for many committees to transfer all or part of their own donations to another “lead” committee.  Such “transfer of donations” are not included in the overall summations since they would then be double-counted; first as the original donations received (from a private person or an organization) and then as a transfer to the (typically) larger committee.

The contributions received by each committee were as follows (see above for the name of the committee corresponding to each number listed in table below):

In the table above it should be noted that committee number 5 (the “Human Rights Campaign California Marriage PAC – No on Prop.8; a committee from Washington, DC) donated to committee no. 1 more than they received in donations.  Thus they did not declare all of the contributions they received.  The question remains whether this was accepted by the Secretary of State since she is a democrat and probably favoring a “No on Prop.8”.

But in the final analysis this fact may be rather irrelevant by comparison.  There were lots of organizations (apart from the official “committees” above) that donated lots of money without the voters having a clue from whom these organizations received their money.  There are at least three identified multi-billionaires (at least two of whom are themselves homosexuals) with deep pockets (very deep!) who are throwing vast amounts of money into propositions of this kind (as well as political races) through a large array of organizations to promote the homosexual agenda.  For them to contribute many millions of dollars to a campaign is small potatoes.  This method of “buying” election results is a very serious challenge to our democratic principles.  The men and their modus operandi (in relative anonymity) is discusses elsewhere.

The in-state and out-of-state contributions to the two campaigns were as follows:

Note:

All the amounts above represent contributions received and not money spent by respective committee.  At the time of the final reporting some committees might not yet have spent 100% of the contributions they received.  But for the purpose of our discussion it’s the sources of the contributions received that are of interest.  Therefore, those were the numbers analyzed.
